How to get the most out of your child’s party

Think what your child likes and theme the party to suit your child.

Party boxes with the child’s name on it containing food are a great way of containing mess, providing food on a budget without loads of food left over.

Always have balloons, the kid’s love them and it keeps them entertained for hours.

Think about the right time to hold a party and the best time to sit and have food. That way you will avoid children asking for food.

Keep the party bags simple.  They are happy with cake and sweets and a few little party toys.

I always like to see the party child handing out the bags at the end, thanking everyone. It’s just good manners but a nice touch.

Allow plenty of time for the face painter or disco to set up beforehand.

Ensure the food is all laid out ready and don’t forget the cake!

Cupcakes for the party bags or 2 cakes (one already cut up) will take away the pressure of cutting the cake, giving you time to socialise with everyone in the party.

Don’t forget to have fun!

Last of all make sure you are at the venue 15mins early to greet the guests.  Nothing worse than turning up to a party and no one there!
