Sculpture art trails are a great opportunity for artists to showcase work. I recently had the pleasure of reworking an old sculpture bought at a charity auction from an art trail.
The brief was to strip the material off, bring back to to basics and repaint the East meets West theme in more vibrant colours. The material over the years had faded and the sculpture with material was not suitable for the outdoors. A total rethink was needed, taking inspiration from the original materials and patterns.
All painted up and ready for the Anti grafitti glaze which will protect it and give it a gorgeous shine.
